Edmunds School (1900) – view from northwest

275 Main Street, Burlington (at the corner of South Union Street), Vermont USA • The school was built on farmland donated by the Honorable George Franklin Edmunds (1828-1919), former U.S. Senator from Vermont serving 25 years (1866-1891). The three-story, yellow brick, Renaissance Revival with a raised basement structure was designed by local architect W.R.B. Wilcox. The structure is now used as the Edmunds Middle School.
