Punctuated Rib Attempts

These are the two final attempts at Ann Budd's Punctuated Rib Socks from Knitting Socks with Handpainted Yarn. The toe on the right is Seacoast Handpainted merino/tencel (nice stitch definition) in Butte and the toe on the left is Fibranatura Yummy in Green. The Fibranatura knitted up like a sportweight instead of a fingering, and the Seacoast seemed to pool no matter how I wrangled it. I love these socks, and I'll come back to them, but I get it: seven or eight tries means move on to another pair of socks.
