Maple Leaf Canada Flag

This flag is made of Red maple leaves spread out over snow to represent the Canada Flag. This photo was taken in Barrie, Ontario in January 2009.

I found the most red maple leaves I could find in the fall, and ironed them between wax paper. Then I waited. And waited. Finally, a calm, sunny January day came where I could lay these leaves on freshly fallen snow in the shape of Canada's flag.

And here you are.
