1946 Ford

Seen at the Piketon Parts car show in Piketon, Ohio. This is the first post-war (WW2) Ford model. I recall going to the Worthington, Ohio Ford dealer. to see the the first one.

I drove one of those when I was in college. It was also a club coupe but the color was royal blue. Do you see where the little strip of chrome on the hood doesn't line up with the strip on the door? Mine was off even more than that. Most of the restored '46 Fords don't have that problem, but back then almost all of them did. Those flat-head V8's were great engines.
