In front of a bank machine...Sad capture.

The people queuing up at the cash machine ignore this man. This shot could habe been taken anywhere in the world. Sad truth about our modern world: we don't want to see what's bothering us.

Oh Karl(Marx) the world isn't fair
It isn't and never will be
    They tried out your plan
    It brought misery instead
If you'd seen how they worked it
You'd be glad you were dead
Just like I'm glad I'm living in the land of the free
Where the rich just get richer
And the poor you don't ever have to see
    It would depress us, Karl
    Because we care
That the world still isn't fair -
exerpt from the song "The World Isn't Fair" from the LP, "Bad Love" by Randy Newman
I know it's supremely cynical however it's the song I often think of when I struggle with my own discontinuity - between what I know to be true and what I do about it....
as donenespez states, and dogfrog captures with unflinching clarity.
