The four Englert sisters: Regina (Gene) Knoebel, Loretto ("Loretta") Pfleuger, Ethel Searls and Florence Dwyer. That was their birth order as well. And here they are 61 years earlier. This was labeled "Point Pleasant" but in fact was Mantoloking Beach. I recognize the poles, the ropes, and the membership badges. I was there at the time, turning 6 years old. The photographer was Uncle Jack Dwyer, Florence's husband. Ethel was my grandmother. She lived to 107. The others all lived into their 80s and 90s as well. Great ladies, all.
