Seattle in InfraRed

Ever wonder what Seattle might look like in infra red? Well, look no further. This shot was taken with a Nikon D5100 using a Hoya R72 IR filter. My EXIF should tell the rest of the exposure story. The bridge I was standing on was shaking a bit as the cars drove by. And, as anyone who has worked in IR knows, focusing the scene can be a real chore, as infrared light focuses at a different wavelength to visible light. It's not as sharp as I would like. But hey, just don't press your nose against the monitor and it should look fine.
