Driving the southern ring road of Iceland is a dangerous experience- not because of traffic (there isn't much) , not because of winding roads, but because of the number of beautiful waterfalls falling off cliff faces to the landward side of the road. I'm sure there are many unnamed falls along this stretch but this one has always captured my eye. in 2009, the winds were blowing such that parts of the waterfall seemed to be flowing up. On this occasion, the passing light and showers meant that at times, the waterfall was lit up beautifully by the sun. (the map location is a guess - flickr's map isn't particularly detailed enough for me to see the town ....)
