The world of Larg's

Newer Older

Larg's Bay Jetty,

After attending a friend's party in Semaphore, Marianne and I ducked to Larg's before heading out for dinner with the folks. I've been hogging the 5d recently so I wandered around wtih the 40D and the trusty sigma 10-20. I was happily snapping away at the base of the jetty when the sky started exploding after sunset. Quickly snapped 21 pictures for a pano and I've presented 2 versions , both of which you can view large. I certainly had to do a lot more work to the non HDR image in post processing but I Think they have a different feel.

This one was stiched in photoshop after doing each of the individual panels in photomatix.

I like the wide angle alot, and I have to give the nod to the HDR version in this case, though both have their merits. Another excellent capture dylan!

i enjoy the effect of producing a wide-angle stitched pano. the distortion really works to provide a different perspective of the world. this shot reminds me of my image I captured of a beach in WA.
