North High Presents "School of Rock"
With the spring high school theater season underway, it seems fitting that North High School is presenting a musical about music in a school. "School of Rock," based on the 2003 film, features music by Andrew Lloyd Weber. Performances at North are on Friday, April 13 and Saturday, April 14 at 7:00 PM and Sunday, April 15 at 2:00 PM. Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for students. The story revolves around Dewey Finn, an out-of-work rock singer and guitarist who pretends to be a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school. After identifying the musical talent in his students, they form a band in an attempt to win a contest.
