Passion 2012.

Humbled. Amazed. Inspired. Renewed. Freed.

Passion isn't just a conference, it's a movement. Being surrounded by over 40,000 college students whose hearts are on fire for Jesus is too amazing for words. We had a goal to raise $1 million for organizations that fight slavery and human trafficking. 27 million are enslaved today. It's absolutely insane to think that this is being allowed. Us "poor college students" didn't just meet that goal, we didn't even just doubled it. We more than doubled it, and raised over $2,600,000 and inspired a couple to donate another $500,000. The $1 million paid for 1 border station and safe home for trafficking victims in India and Nepal, trafficking prevention reaching 48,000 youth victims in Ukraine, rescue operations for forced labor slaves in Chennai, a project to combat trafficking in Atlanta, aftercare for child victims in Cambodia, and newly restored and furnished apartments for girls in Atlanta pulled out of trafficking and sex exploitation. The rest of the money was then donated to many more similar organizations. To think that in four days, a group of people in love with Jesus could make such an impact on the world.

It's amazing how God can speak directly to you through a message even with 45,000 other people surrounding you. That happened to me all weekend, in the weakest areas of my life. God's love is endless, and He can raise any from the dead and give them new life.
