Radjah Shelducks

Radjah shelducks (Tadorna radjah).

Yellow Water, Kakadu National Park, Northern Territory.

Sorry about the quality - this was the best picture I got of them.

These are moderately rare and are known by the Kakadu park rangers as "thousand dollar ducks", since that's the fine if you're caught messing with them.


UNESCO World Heritage Site.
