301/365: Long-billed Corella

    Newer Older

Long-billed Corella (Cacatua tenuirostris). This guy alighted on the extremely narrow ledge (about 1 centimetre wide) right outside my office window next to my desk, and scrabbled to maintain a hold for several minutes, allowing me to get a photo. These aren't native to the Sydney area, but there is a feral population descended from escaped pets.
