Graffiti Dubai

Most unusual to see this sort of overt political graffiti in Dubai. This is on a harding on a road parallel with Sheikh Zayed Road. What does it mean? Perhaps a reference to the commonly held view here that the state is watching people through monitoring of their communications? Certainly the Salik tag system for charging tolls on cars keeps a nice record of vehicle travel along the main thoroughfare in Dubai. Abu Dhabi appears to be putting a very comprehensive camera system in place throughout approach roads to the city. The state also proved adept at using CCTV technology to great effect after the alleged Mossad murder carried out here in early 2010.
