Gollapudi Portrait

One of about 120 children at a home for orphans in a village called Gollapudi.

I was one of two guys snapping portraits of the children. We brought a laptop and a couple of photo printers with us and made a framed portrait for each child at two orphanages. At the end of the project, we donated this equipment, plus a camera, to the people who coordinate the orphanages and other ministries we were visiting.

The kids at the school where I teach raised the money for the laptop in the week prior to the trip. I brought home a great thank you letter from India and read it at an assembly last week, along with showing some pictures from the trip. It was awesome to be part of the whole thing . . . especially rewarding to help connect students from my school with these kids in India.
