Caramel Apple Cake
Another of the Easter desserts, this time the Caramel Apple Cake recipe from Lewis and Poliafito’s Baked Explorations (the authors claim not to make it this time of year, but I love apples and had ready access to good applesauce, so…)
Cake decorating continues to not be my strong suit, although this one didn't come out too bad (although I did get some condensation; think I took the lid off the cake keeper too soon).
The cake was delicious: dense, moist, with a more pronounced taste of apples than I expected. I'll be making this one again.
Again, just a quick snapshot, although I had the presence of mind to whisk this outside to try and get some natural light on it.
