Chicane

This stream's course is changed with every ebb and flow of the tide. On this particular morning the stream cut a pleasing chicane through the sand as it made it's way to the North Sea.

I positioned myself over the top of the stream on the sand bank to create enough of an angle to catch some dawn colour in the ripples of the water. Still quite a while before sunrise the colours were pleasingly intense and saturated.
