St. Francis EMS (Wilmington, DE)
Basic Life Support and EMS Transport for the City of Wilmington (DE) became the responsibility of St. Francis Hospital a few years back. The new hospital-based system increases coverage from 2 EMS units to 4 ambulances, 24x7.

ALS service remains the responsibility of New Castle County Emergency Services which operates two paramedic units in the city. The Wilmington Fire Department serves as first-responders on life threatening and other EMS emergencies.

The incident illustrated in this set shows the three major emergency providers in addition to Delaware State Police Trooper-4, responsible for air-medevac in NC County and nearby areas. Trooper-4 is a Bell-407 helicopter one of four rotary wing aircraft operated by DSP.
