MEME: Tools of (IA) destruction

Newer Older

Following Michael Angeles's lead, this is a photo of my writing intruments that I use for IA when I am not doing work on the computer.

MEME: Take a snap of your writing tools and pads/notebooks and upload it to Flickr, mark all of the tools you use, tag it with TOD and "tools of destruction", and share it with your friends.

Note: You can switch out "IA" for "Design" or "Copywriting" or whatever it is you like to do!

Love the Pirate Head pencil end! ;)

I have a pencil-case filled with various pens, pencils, and my pad for jottings/sketches, rough notes is A4 plain paper in an exec wallet-folder-thingy. It's not exciting to look at - so, no photo will be snapped for it! :D

Update: Okay, here's my lame effort - www.flickr.com/photos/mattrobin/2966812753/

I LOVE the Uni-Ball Jetstream Gel. They really don't make them anymore? Boo :(

  4. nickf 79 months ago | reply

Anthony, I can't find them anywhere... not even on the uni-ball site.

More like IA Creation, no? Love the pirate head too. This is my old badge holder when I worked for a big corp:

@nickf It looks like Amazon has them.

  7. nickf 79 months ago | reply

twatson: Are you sure those are not the same crappy ass JetStream ones they sell at Office Depot? The ones I am talking about actually say Gel on the box. Maybe Amazon has a surplus? Did you order some?

  8. twatson 79 months ago | reply

@nickf I haven't ordered any, so I'm not sure if these are the "gel" ones or not. I too am addicted to the pens though, so I might have to do some further research.

I totally needed a break today, so this was fun. Here's my contribution.

    Eerie how we're a community of moleskine-carrying, sticky-loving, jetstream addicts. Like a far-flung family.

    About the pens:
I can't imagine I'm the only one who's handed that pen to an uninitiated user and watched with befuddlement as he or she searched in vain for the clicking end of the pen. It's always an interesting lesson for me to watch.
