Man what an amazing place. I'm sure you were just shoulder-to-shoulder with other photographers. Great result with this!

awesome how the water gets smooth at this exposure/aperture - great shot again - whats that ring?!? hanging outside at the light house?!?

Seen in my contacts' photos. (?)

Marc - it's a wreath. I kinda wish it wasn't there. Maybe I'll edit it out and replace this pic. It sort of takes away from the mood of the image.

John (extra medium) - believe it or not, there were no photogs there at this time because it was below 20F, windy beyond belief, and freezing rain...

Okay, elusive* says she's've mastered long exposure. ;)
really though, this is great. It has such a nice feel to it and even though it was freezing and raining as you say, this conveys totally the opposite. Probably why I love it so much.

Really like the colours in this version - the deep reds and the pale blues are lovely!

Wow...just absolutely amazing photograph. I love how all the main elements here are just split in half by the horizon. Fantastic shot.
