SNCF Gare de Lyon, XIIe arrondissement, Paris

Paris-Gare de Lyon (or Gare de Lyon) is one of the six large mainline railway station termini in Paris. It handles about 90,000,000 passengers every year, making it the third busiest station of France and one of the busiest of Europe. It is the northern terminus of the Paris–Marseille railway. It is named after the city of Lyon, a stop for many long-distance trains departing here, most en route to the south of France.

The station is located in the XIIe arrondissement, on the north bank of the river Seine, in the east of Paris. The station is served by high-speed TGV trains to south and eastern France, Switzerland, Italy and Spain. The station also hosts regional trains and the RER and also by the Gare de Lyon metro station. Source: www.wikiwand.com

The 12th arrondissement of Paris (also known as "arrondissement de Reuilly") is one of the 20 arrondissements (administrative districts) of the capital city of France.

Situated on the right bank of the River Seine, the district has been significantly reorganized in recent decades, especially in the areas of Cour Saint-Émilion and Bercy, which now contain the French Ministry of Finances and the Bercy arena.

The 12th arrondissement contains the Opéra de la Bastille, the second largest opera house in Paris. It was inaugurated in 1989, on the 200th anniversary of the storming of the Bastille. The Bois de Vincennes is also located in this arrondissement. Source: www.wikiwand.com
