Project HEAL (Health Education and Awareness in Latin America) seeks to provide health information and educational resources to help empower the people of Honduras, especially in rural communities like the Atlantida region. The project also investigates the relationship between health attitudes and behaviors to determine the greatest need.

Students coordinate health education camps for children and teach them about hygiene, diabetes, nutrition, and stigmas associated with HIV/AIDS. Students also develop and conduct health surveys to determine the incidence of malnutrition and other health conditions. The information is then used to create a community health report.
