Stanley Hong's Mannia Cafe - Detroit

This one was tough to research, thanks to Mikem of detroityes.com for coming thru on this one! Located at 265 Baltimore ( both the street sign and address have been removed ) at the opening of this restaurant it was stated to be "Detroit's most beautiful Chinese-American restaurant". It opened in 1968. It later closed and became the Omega Baptist Church and then the Grace Fellowship Baptist Church. Personally I am having trouble picturing this sci-fi building as a Chapel....they merely stuck a small, white cross in middle of the "horn".
