A Wordless Song

“In the depth of my soul there is a wordless song.”

(Khalil Gibran - Lebanese American artist, poet, and writer, 1883–1931)

This is one more picture of this lady who came nearby Jatar ghat along the Ganges in Varanasi (Benaras) where I was sitting.

It was at dawn, after taking a bath in the holy waters she changed her clothes and she stood for a while under a red sari which she hung in order to dry.

I took many shots of her and she didn't mind, she just said I was crazy and that she was too old to become my model, we had a good laugh, she had a nice sense of humour.

Later she was singing, I can't remember what the song was about, it is now a wordless song on my picture...
