Found Image #1

This Kodak Brownie Reflex 20 was $15 on Craigslist. The price seemed high, but upon inspection, the camera already had a roll of exposed film in it. So I thought, what the heck, film doesn't come any cheaper than that!

The film is 620 Kodak Verichrome Pan exposed (most likely) sometime in the early 1960s; developed in Diafine for five minutes each for both solution A and solution B; scanned myself on an Epson v700. (Some adjustment of to get it to scan well, but no other correction or post-production.)

My current hypothesis is a child owned the camera, shot the roll on a vacation out west, and never got to the next step.

Final budget tally for these images:

Camera: $15

Film: free

Processing (DIY): $4

Scanning (DIY): $1

Total: $20
