Desert Plumbago-Plumbago scandens-close up

Desert Plumbago (Plumbago scandens)-A native, medium-sized shrub with glossy-green leaves and stunning white flowers that appear throughout the year, but most prolifically in the fall. In the low desert, this perennial does best if planted in filtered light or shade. t is tolerant of most soil types and is extremely drought tolerant once established in the landscape. Desert Plumbago is perfect for shady, narrow spaces as it reaches up to 2-3 feet tall and wide. Discover in the Harriet K. Maxwell Desert Wildflower Loop Trail.
