Desert Botanical Garden (DBG) – Amy Walker reporting

Yes, the wildflowers are still beautifully blooming along the Wildflower Loop, but now many of the cacti and trees have begun as well. Come see the lemony yellow of the Chañar (Geoffroea decorticans) bloom, the vibrant red of the Crown of Thorns (Euphorbia milii), and sunny orange of the Superstition Mallow (Abutilon palmeri) and much more. If you come early and have the time to walk the main trail, you’ll be rewarded with aloe blooms of all colors and perhaps even a glimpse of the yucca that are thinking seriously about blooming as well. To see more flowering at the Garden check out our main page at dbg.org “What’s Blooming in the Garden”.
