Lena (Helene Vance) Warren was born in Deseronto on January 7th, 1884, the daughter of James Warren and Matilda (née Alexander). The 1911 census has her profession listed as schoolteacher: she had been teaching in Deseronto for at least 25 years by the time this photograph was taken.
