Origami tessellation 'Star-eyes' (Marjan Smeijsters)

Inspired by the fireworks of Edinburgh on Sunday evening after the BOS-convention 2013, I designed an origami tessellation called 'Star-eyes'

 

 

Folded from a hexagon 50 cm, grid 1:96. Finished model 25 cm.

To make a nicer edge, I folded 2 pleats backwards instead of cutting it off. That's why the edge is darker.
