Origami Snowflake (Jo Nakashima)

Another origami snowflake, backlit. Like every real snowflake, they are unique in their appearance and in how they show their inner beauty. It is always a lovely surprise for me to discover that after I folded it. ;-)

The big one in the middle is the final snowflake. But also the in-between phases are lovely. On the left in the beginning and on the right just one folding-step further. I like the little triangle inside, that you can see here ;-)

Here you see how they look like in daylight .

Model: origami Snowflake

Design: Jo Nakashima

I folded the big one from a hexagon 21x21cm, glassine. Final size 12cm( from point to point).

Both the little ones hexagon 10x10cm, glassine.

If you want to fold this beauty, there is a tutorial

Happy folding!
