Origami Owl (Melina Hermsen))

After I folded the origami Owl by Melina Hermsen AKA Yureiko , I wanted to do a little version as well ;-)) So I did. Folded this little snow-owl out of a hexagon from bible paper about 33cm, grid 1:48. Finished model about 12 cm height.

 

When the folding was finished I cut the owl out, two triangles around it to fold backwards for making a border to keep it more together.

I think was Robin Scholz, who inspired me to do the cutting or at least made me think about it ;-))
