Firth of Clyde, Aran and Cumbrae

One of my favourite haunts in Scotland is the small hamlet of Portencross on the West Coast of Scotland. Near to the town of West Kilbride you'll find a single track road that leads down to the cost. At the end of the road stands Portencross castle and it is from here that you can get the views across the Firth of Clyde to the island of Cumbrae and Aran and beyond to the Mull of Kyntyre.
