The dangers of touch UI

Note the time is 2:28am.

 

I fell asleep with my finger on the screen about to check mail. My finger stayed on mail for an extended period of time which activated the wiggly "move stuff around mode". Then, as I fell asleep further, my finger slid across the glass, dragging the mail icon with it. My finger fell off the screen and the phone went to sleep. When I woke up and unlocked the phone, mail was gone and nothing was wiggling to tell me what had happened.

 

I remember sweating, just a little bit, when I couldn't find mail in the dock.
