Ipswich River Restoration, South Middleton Dam

The goal of this project is to reconnect 57 miles of upper watershed mainstem and tributaries with the lower Ipswich River by removing South Middleton Dam. This dam is privately owned and is the first dam on the Ipswich River without a fish ladder. Project partners and the dam owner are investigating the feasibility of removing the dam.
