Mile High Holidays 2019
Photos from the 16th annual "Mile High Holidays" press conference on Tuesday, November 19. "Mile High Holidays" is an annual statewide effort by Visit Denver to encourage visitors and locals alike to fully celebrate the season in and around the metro area. Denver holiday traditions include parades, performing arts, shopping, lights displays and more. The 2019 kickoff event was held at the Denver Performing Arts Complex, with the backdrop being the "Mile High Tree," a new 110-foot, seven-story attraction in Sculpture Park that is being touted as the tallest pixel LED technology tree in the country. The press event culminated with students from Bear Creek High School singing a song from "Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical," which is coming to the Buell Theatre from December 3-8. A full list of local holiday events can be found at More NewsCenter coverage at MyDenverCenter.Org. Photos by John Moore.
