For the final episode in the Back to the Future trillogy, I made the Black Bottomed Peanut Butter Silk Pie from Vegan with a Vengance. I billed it as a "Mud-Pie" since it was set in the old west. And of course I prepared the pie in a metal "frisbee" pie pan.
The taste is supurb! I really didn't expect to like it so much- peanut butter isn't my favorite and neither is a tofu-based pie. But with Isa in the Navigation seat, I may have to reevaluate.
