I spent a whole month in Patagonia, Chile and Argentina. This part of South America is incredibly beautiful, but sometimes also cold and windy.

The trip started in Buenos Aires. We went from Bariloche to Puerta Varas (Chile). After a short flight to Punta Arenas we saw the Strait of Magellan and the penguins.

After a one day boat trip we reached the National Park Torres del Paine. We spent four days hiking and camping in that wonderful national park. A whole day on Glacier Grey, and then back again to Argentina. The next highlights: Glacier Petito Moreno and Fitz Roy !!

I was deeply impressed by the variety of the landscapes, every day we had a different scenery and always exciting days. But also the people and the food are simply wonderful.

In Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego, we made a boat trip on the Beagle Channel, strong wind, a heavy see, and I got sea sick ... The last night 'at the end of the world' we had an incredible sunset and a wonderful warm summer evening. Next day we headed for Buenos Aires and two exciting days on a ranch 'La Igualdad'.
