English thatched cottage

This is part of a row of thatched cottages in the village of Barford St. Martin, Wiltshire.

It is a perfect example of the old world style of roofing to be found in rural England. Perhaps the most interesting aspect with this building is that it is built on a curve around a corner in the road.

(Sorry about the cables...sadly I couldn't rip them down. LOL)
