Pink-striped Oakworm Moth-explored

This female has recently come out of her Cocoon. The photos below show her crawling on the grass.

When I first encountered it, I thought, OMG, a bug with ears, LOL. I watched it for a couple of hours. Watched her transform into a beautiful moth. A male found her before she completed her transformation. As you can see on the last 3 photos.
