Uxbridge House is a very early and unusual example of Melbourne's popular Queen Anne style residence. Built in 1889, the attractive single level villa features a slate roof topped with cast iron cresting and finials and an octagonal twin level tower with beautiful yet understated sinuously framed stained glass windows.
