chelatchie cemetery
A restrained two-acre cemetery that is mostly open save for a clutch of pines on the knuckle of the hill. Someone, though, has recently resuscitated this place, installing a new fence, new sign, some benches, and lining the front with flowering cherries, not to mention the ubiquitous flag pole (should someone arise from the dead and not know which country they were in) and directory boards. Good to see that people care.

On the east side of Hwy. 503 — which is running north-south at this point and is called NE Yardbridge Rd. — just north of its intersection with Healy Rd (look for the Chelatchie General store at the intersection). Can’t be missed.
