Mountain Hare looking inquisitive

    Newer Older

I spent a wonderful day in the mountains today with our good friends Andrew & Lyndsey Howard. The sun was out and the wind was light and it was warm - I so hope this was not our summer!!

This hare decided to come over towards me to check me out, I love the expression on his face. The light was stunning when this image was taken.

Probably feeling a bit silly too, still being dressed in its winter coat in this weather! Saw some mountain hare many years ago on the way in to climb some hills near Inverey (Braemar) and they stood out a bit as well!
      Another superb portrait!
