Expedition to Tamshiyacu Tahuayo Reserve
These photos are just a hint of what we saw and did on a three day expedition to Tamshiyacu Tahuayo Reserve. As a photographer, I failed to capture adequate photos of my best view ever of a Capped Heron in the golden light, iridescent parrots, several species of bromiliads that I do not have in my collection, and several other remarkable nature observations that I wish I could share with you. I hope to capture them next time. On the other hand, the Blue and Gold Macaws, the blossoms, and berries, made it worthwhile to carry my camera. Our guests were wonderful people to go up the river with, and my memories are what count the most. I published an article about this cruise in my Captain's Blog at; dawnontheamazon.com/blog/ , on April 6th titled, In Tamshiyacu Tahuayo Reserve With Friends. I hope you enjoy it.
