Lombard Street San Francisco

Lombard Street is one of the most visited street in San Francisco. It is the view from Hyde street with Coit Tower and Bay bridge during the holiday time. You can see there is a "mini" star on top of the Transamerica and the lights are on the Embarcadero Center. It is best known for the one-way section on Russian Hill between Hyde and Leavenworth Streets, in which the roadway has eight sharp turns (or switchbacks) that have earned the street the distinction of being the crookedest "most winding "street in the world (though this title is contested).

Do you know there is a 2nd Crooked Street in San Francisco?

Nice job. It's a difficult shoot because of the lighting.

Nice take on this landmark, love the city lights.

the other crooked street is Vermont Street around 20th Street, near the 101 freeway. It is supposed to be more crooked due to its sharper curve, but who knows? sure does not have the glamor or heavy traffic on Lombard.

Awsome shot. One of my favorite landmarks. Lost my camera here on vacation. A very nice person made sure I got it back. Love the people of San Fran.!!.

Damn this is good. And I LOVE how the 'No Walking' sign nicely sticks out in this scene.
