Lighting Test 1

Ever get bored and just want to goof off for the day playing with your small strobes?

I lit this portrait of me with 2 SB-800 strobes. Both strobes are slaved using PocketWizards.

The main light is a SB-800 with a grid on it. This is a small grid which is actually designed to fit on a Novatron snoot. It just so happens to fit on the front of my strobe with the use of a rubber-band.

The second strobe, another SB-800 bounced into an umbrella. This light is providing fill around the subject.

The shutter was "dragged" or left open to record the ambient light behind the subject.

I've included a production still in the next post.
