Transfiguration.

Ah, it feels so good to have created successful self-portrait, after 2 long months of failed attempts at doing so. I also find it funny that this is pretty much the exact opposite of the last photo I uploaded.

That being said, this photo is part of a new series I'm starting, based on motion and energy in photographs. It started with this photo of my friend Brendon.

As you can see, I've shaved my head. I've also started working at Chipotle (I have my first shift ever in about 2 hours, haha), and I've decided to take a some time off from school to work, travel, and make art. My goal is to increase my clientele over the course of the next year, and I have plans to move ~somewhere by next fall. I'm thinking Oregon, if only for six months, for a change of scenery and fresh perspective.

I've been working hard for the past few weeks to better myself as a person and artist, starting small by getting a job, eating healthier, and working out. I'm hoping that these small steps will help me along the path to become the best person and artist I can be.

This is really cool. The motion is really awesome, it's an effect I don't see much and I think its an awesome idea for a series. Can't wait to see what more you have for it. I basically did the same thing with quitting school to pursue photography/travel and it feels great! I'm sure at the point you're at, first and second year classes aren't going to teach you much more than you already know about photography anyways, maybe spend the time you would be in class practicing and it would probably be even more effective. At least thats what its like for me.

Go to Oregon for sure! This is a great shot!

That's inspiring, small changes will take place in both your mind and body. Take notice, they will be lovely.

Wish you all the very best and may all your plans be succeeded.

You've set yourself a really good, and hard, goal with your life. And I love that. Being the best what you can be is always something to reach for. I bet you'll manage it great, althought you'll maybe hit some dumps on the way. I'll be cheering for you :)

Also this is really nice, I like the energy you've manage to create here. It looks wonderful, and I can't wait to see more of this series!
