Experimenting with techniques I would never normally have touched. A focus for 2016 is on experimentation and more image creation. This was created following Antti Karppinen Photography, Alias Creative's wonderful tutorial on how to create an image that resembles a wet plate collodion. Thanks to PetaPixel for publishing the tutorial!

Don't ever be afraid to push your art and experiment with the things you create. Whether you're a photographer or a designer or a painter or a baker or a mechanic or a shop owner or an ecologist or fill-in-the-blank. We need more people in this world pushing the limits of their creativity, experimenting more. We need more people who aren't willing to except normalcy, who want to do something different and something that has the capability to impact many others.

It starts every day we wake up, when we decide to be different. To think different. To do something better. To do something above and beyond. And exercising your creativity, your experimentation in even the smallest of ways, like this image I created, is one step towards doing just that.
