Absent friend
Another little bird long absent from my photostream, is the gorgeous long tailed tit.
This was a fleeting glimpse of the little guy, as it speedily went about it's business.
Sometimes it's nice to catch up with birds you see regularly, but therefore take for granted.
Something I didn't know is all it's other names, apparently the long-tailed tit or long-tailed bushtit, is occasionally referred to as the silver-throated tit or silver-throated dasher.
