      Simple, excellent. The window handles date from at a minimum the 1930s, I had the the two same patterns (curled handles), but with a swivelling 'limiter' restraining the notched lower bar, on my Wythenshawe house (built c. 1934) windows until I replaced them. Boy, were these windows a fiddle to paint!

      Love this image with the condensation telling me it.s warmer in than out and yet the trees are still green so autumn or spring but the darkness of the leaves say autumn. Nice and cosy.
