Photography homage, William Eggleston, Casa Grande, Arizona
This is indicative of William Eggleton's mature work as he has concentrated on the ordinary. For a time he was a member of Andy Warhol's circle. (More on Warhol in my film and art essays.) Eggleston has published several books. He had the first one person color exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.
One of Eggleston's more celebrated works was his 1984 book containing the never before seen views of Elvis Presley's Graceland.
